Araba Baptist Church is a Next.js-based church administration system that digitizes the full lifecycle of member and family management. It replaces paper-based record-keeping with a centralized dashboard where administrators can register members, track family relationships (spouses, children, parents), and maintain detailed profiles with photos, contact info, and positions held within the church.
The platform includes a comprehensive event and calendar system using FullCalendar, allowing admins to schedule church-wide events, track visitations and thanksgivings through the welfare department module, and view everything on an interactive dashboard with geographical member maps.
A standout feature is the automated SMS outreach integration with the Nigerian Bulk SMS API. The system automatically sends birthday and wedding anniversary messages to members, and allows admins to send targeted bulk messages to specific groups (youths, teenagers, widowed, monthly celebrants, etc.). Role-based access control ensures that superusers, membership officers, welfare staff, and secretariat personnel each see only what they need.
